Product Overview
Warranty
It’s important to adhere to the guidelines provided regarding the application, installation, and maintenance of our products to ensure warranty validity. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
- H& S Stones has detailed information on our website and in literature about how to use, install, and take care of our products. If you don’t follow these instructions, the warranty for the product will be void.
The warranty only applies to the original buyer and the first installation. It doesn’t cover any damage caused by mistakes during installation or fabrication. To be covered, the product must be installed correctly following the provided instructions and using approved accessories, if needed. The warranty doesn’t cover problems caused by installation or fabrication mistakes.
- H&S Stone won’t be responsible for any issues if the product is misused, abused, neglected, or stored improperly. The warranty doesn’t cover scratches either. You need to take care of the product, like using chopping boards to avoid scratches. Water marks, limescale deposits, and unpaid materials are also not covered by the warranty.
- Our quartz surfacing is made for indoor use, especially in kitchens and bathrooms. While there’s no risk to the end user, you need to be careful during manufacturing and installation.
- Avoid cutting the slab at a right angle directly, as it might crack. Always drill a hole before cutting. Cracks resulting from this won’t be covered by the warranty.
- Cracks that appear after installation aren’t necessarily due to defective material. They could be caused by improper handling, heat, excessive weight, or bumping the material after installation.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Upon delivery, it’s the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods. By signing the delivery note, the customer confirms that the goods were received in good order and condition. If the goods are found to be unsatisfactory upon inspection, such as being damaged or scratched, the customer should refuse delivery and notify H&S Stones immediately via email. Once delivery is accepted and signed for, it’s understood that the goods have been inspected and are deemed satisfactory.
End User Approval
We strongly advise customers to show the delivered goods to the end user for approval before any fabrication takes place. Once the goods are cut or fabricated, any pre-existing faults, batch variations, or color differences become the customer’s responsibility. While we provide samples for color and style reference, please note that actual products may vary from samples.

We accept returns of goods deemed unsuitable within 30 days of delivery, provided they have not been fabricated or damaged. A restocking fee may apply to returned goods. Ownership of all goods remains with H&S Stones until full payment is received.
